The Select Tester valve is afull-opening, annulus pressure operated tool. With applied pressure, the toolcan be locked open and thenreturned to the normal operating sequence at any time. The ball valve operatesindependently of pressure changes from operations such as acidizing andfracturing. This gives the Select

Tester valve greater compatibility andflexibility with other tools in the string.

• Incorporates advancedmaterials and processes providing aunique metal-to-metal seal for exceptionalgas-holding capabilities.

• Has under gone extensivefive-day qualification testing at 400°F and 15,000 psi including a 16,500 psiburst and collapse
test.

• Allows operator toreverse out/circulate to the lowest point of circulation below the Select Testervalve. This facilitates well kill
operations, saving both time andmoney.

• Allows operator to run inor come out of a hole in the open position, enhancing safety and maximizing wellcontrol options.

• Allows operator to spotcushion to the lowest point of circulation below the Select Tester valve. Thisimproves control of draw down pressure and reduces recovery of mud and otherrathole fluids.

• Simplifies string designby eliminating the need for a bypass when stinging into or out of a productionpacker.

• Maximizes flexibilityduring well kill operations since the Select Tester valve can be operated withthe packer unset

Note: When annulus pressure isapplied or bled off to zero, it is recommended operating procedure to wait 10minutes before operating the Select Tester valve again
